My magic workshop parties are perfect for older children or any child who wants to both watch and learn amazing magic! If you’re looking for a different kind of activity for an older child’s birthday party, children aged 8+ will love this 1 hour magic workshop party!
This isn’t your standard cheesy magic show from a clown type entertainer. In this party, not only will I perform grown up, amazing close-up, sleight of hand magic (the type you may have seen at a wedding, or on TV) and mind reading, but I will also teach the children how to perform tricks themselves! The party will be talks of the playground when the children perform their amazing tricks at school!
ABOUT THE MAGIC WORKSHOP PARTY
Your birthday child and their friends will learn the secrets behind some amazing tricks including how to make something disappear; how to move a paperclip with their mind; how to make something teleport, how to find someone’s chosen card in a truly baffling way, just to name a few. Learning the magic is more than just knowing the secrets, I will teach the children exactly how to perform the tricks, giving all the details and tips to perform them like a real magician, and and I make sure everyone can do them!
WHY CHOOSE JARED GALE?
Finding entertainment and activities for older children birthday parties can be difficult, as you don’t want a traditional children’s entertainer who may talk down to the children, but most magicians who usually perform for a grown up audience, don’t know how perform for older children for and keep them engaged either.
Whilst most magicians tend to perform for just children or primarily for an adult audience; I perform magic shows at children’s birthday parties, close up magic at weddings & special events and I work teaching magic clubs in schools for children aged 7-13. So, I am very familiar with this age group and what they find fun, funny and engaging.
I’m far from a standard children’s entertainer, no star covered waistcoats or cheesy dated props, or simple tricks that patronise the children or treat them like they’re stupid. That’s not what children want anymore, particularly older children and especially in front of their friends at their party! I perform real grown up sleight of hand magic and mind reading in this party, that will be just as baffling for the adults too. And the tricks they learn will be sure to fool their friends and family, young and old alike!

This magic workshop isn’t a ‘sit down and watch’ type show, which makes it perfect for older children’s parties, particularly for relaxed parties at home, and it’s proved very popular as an evening or morning activity at sleepover parties! This can be performed for parties at home in a living room or dining room, in a hall or in a restaurant. I can adapt the package to any venue. The children will be interacting, participating and engaging and will have a great time learning, practicing and performing the amazing tricks with their friends.

Jared was booked for our daughters 7th Birthday this weekend. He managed to capture the attention of 35 small children, keep everybody involved and occupied and provide an entertaining and fun show.
